just a quick one,
ive been thinking about ocad alot and i feel it just might be
the right choice for me!
also, today i watched julie/julia
and my verdict?
it was simply lovely, i found meryl streep hilarious
also watched dear john around one in the morning..
not a good idea,
very unnecessarily emotional at the wee hours in the morning
are never helpful and absolutley cannot sleep afterwards
due to being too awake from crying.
haha
i decided to be not so lazy
so some good books were in order, obbbbbbviously.
i took out L.A. Candy by lauren conrad, only because shes awesome
and burned by ellen hopkins.
who also wrote crank, impulse and glass.
a series of very serious novels written with interesting patterns,
almost like poetry about the not-so-nice things in life.
the funny thing is, even though theyre not happy
i love reading them.
maybe its partly because the lazy in me likes how easy
they are to read.
i can get through three quarters of one book in a day
like a snap.
and i also like how you feel you are really in the mind
of her characters.
not in the way of most books though,
i suppose im really saying to take a chance and try reading them
whoever you are.
sometimes its nice to know that someone elses life is worse than
you think yours is,
not that im saying my life is horrible,
id just rather read that than read about a life i wish i had.
with the mansion and perfect husband and blue eyed children who are perfect;
if you know what i mean.
i have not yet started on lauren conrad's book, but i will not judge
before i read no matter how much it reminds me of being a 14 year old.

erin update: have decided foo fighters are the shit.
also trying to accept the plain jane hair style that seems to be oh so
popular these days.
i guess flat head is "cool".
i just miss having volume!
like my old hair style,
or as some prefer to call it
"mullet"
ugh.

also, adam is awesome
i got that warm homey feeling today when i not only cooked him an entire
pork roast on my own,
but it was accompanied with sweet potatoes and lots of rice.
and ofcourse a cup of tea.
it was like making dinner for my husband,
and he hugged me, kissed my cheek
just like they do in those novels i hate to read but love to hate.

i guess it wasnt a quick one
thats what she said.
e, xo.
